Marian Mekhail

Marian Mekhail is a Dallas-based contemporary mixed-media artist whose work explores the intersection of culture, identity, history, and human resilience. Best known for her signature technique of painting with thousands of hand-placed pieces of crushed glass, Marian transforms powerful narratives into richly textured works that invite viewers to look beyond the surface.

Drawing inspiration from iconic figures, global cultures, sport, music, and personal experiences, her work balances bold visual impact with meaningful storytelling. Alongside her glass portraits, Marian creates vibrant abstract paintings that celebrate movement, emotion, and color.

Her artwork has been commissioned by Downtown Dallas for large scale murals, as well as, collected and commission by organizations including the NBA, Dallas Wings, Walmart, Puma, Foot Locker, NBC, and Visit Dallas, and has been exhibited throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
