Our Events

Cedars Open Studios Tour

For over twenty years, Cedars Neighborhood Artists have opened their doors to the public to showcase their talent, creativity, and vibrant lives. This free event draws thousands of visitors from all walks of life to experience the neighborhood studios, see and participate in live demos, and meet the many talented artists of the Cedars.

During this one-day-only event visit the Cedars Artists in their homes, studios, collective art spaces, and select participating neighborhood venues - all as independently unique as the individual artwork created within. Whether it's ceramics, photography, painting, sculpture, or live performance you seek, you won’t want to miss a single one!

The Cedars Open Studios Tour started in 2002 at Tin Ranch Studios by a collective of creatives, and now showcases over 100 artists at various locations across the Cedars neighborhood.

Cedars Sessions

Cedars Sessions is an ongoing art talk series that fosters a deeper understanding of the work and creative process with Cedars Artists as they share insights into their artistry, inspirations, and life as a creative. Events are held throughout the year at various locations across the Cedars neighborhood.

THANK YOU TO OUR 2025 SPONSORS

Cedars Open Studios was born out of a grassroots movement—artists opening their doors to share their creative worlds with the community. What began as a small, neighborhood initiative has blossomed into one of Dallas’s most anticipated annual art events, celebrating the vibrant and diverse spirit of the Cedars Arts District. Over the years, the tour has grown to feature more than 100 artists across dozens of studios, galleries, and creative spaces, drawing thousands of visitors who come to experience the unique energy and talent that define this historic neighborhood.

This growth and continued success would not be possible without the generosity of our sponsors. Their support fuels every aspect of the Cedars Open Studios Tour—from printed maps and signage that guide visitors through the neighborhood to the marketing and programming that shine a spotlight on our incredible artists. Sponsors help us keep this event free and accessible to the public, ensuring that art remains a cornerstone of community life in Dallas.

We deeply value our sponsors not just as contributors, but as true partners in creativity. Their investment in the arts helps sustain the local creative economy, foster emerging talent, and strengthen the cultural fabric of our city. Together, we’re building more than an event—we’re nurturing a thriving artistic community that continues to inspire, connect, and grow year after year.
