Kim Petty

Kim Petty creates with an implicit understanding that nature and her nature are not distinct. Her paintings are highly skilled expressions of pure intuition that she has learned to trust and able to realize through more than thirty years of study and practice. Whether they be ethereal landscapes or pure abstractions, her paintings evoke passion, longing, a foreboding sense of uncertainty, and the shear majesty of life - often within the same confluence of brushstrokes.
